Who We Are
Help A Girl Out is a Canadian based not-for-profit organization that aims to reduce period poverty, eliminate the shame attached to menstruation, build self-esteem and reinforce gender equality.
We create and distribute care packages with feminine hygiene and sanitary products to underprivileged females in the GTA and in developing countries around the world. We host events and workshops that aim to educate and empower individuals in society.

Help us sew Reusable pads!
We are recruiting volunteers to help us sew 5,000 reusable sanitary napkins for an upcoming initiative.
Our aim is to recruit ~100 volunteer sewers
If each person sews 50 pads = 5,000 pads
All Materials will be provided along with a Video tutorial, fabric & accessories, however we will not provide the sewing machines.
We are hoping to start sewing in May 2021.
Please reach out to sewers in your family and community to help us achieve our goal.

This initiative will end period poverty for up to 1,000 at risk individuals across Canada.
